Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby gave the best compliment to his teammate Davante Adams on the NFL’s Top 100 unveiling.

Adams could go down as a top-five receiver ever to play this game because he’s one-of-one. When it’s all said and done, he’ll likely be up there with the likes of Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens.

If there’s one player who knows, it’s one of the premier pass rushers for the Las Vegas Raiders, a player who sees Adams up close every day in practice. Davante Adams is the most unguardable wide receiver in the NFL today, and route running and ability to separate at an elite level is astonishing, considering how he first started in the league.

In Adams’ rookie season, he was a solid No. 3 receiver behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb.

Adams struggled in his second year after Jordy Nelson went down, as he only had one touchdown and a career-low catch percentage of 53.2 percent.

Three years later, Adams had his first 1,000-yard season and had two more with the Packers before being traded to the Raiders ahead of the 2022 NFL season.

Last year with the Raiders, Adams had 100 receptions for 1,516 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 15.2 average yards per catch.

This year could be different with Derek Carr out and Jimmy Garoppolo in. Garoppolo played under Raiders Head Coach Josh McDaniels, which the jury is still out on if that’s a good thing or not. Either way, Adams has shown to be productive no matter who is throwing him the football, and that will continue heading into the 2023 season.
