Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has been a major letdown in Fantasy Football this season. After being a fantasy league winner last season, expectations were high for this second-year talent. This has not been the case due to injuries and a dysfunctional offense. Is there still hope for this receiver for the remainder of the season?
What is Christian Watson’s value for the remainder of the season?

This question all depends on what situation your fantasy team is in. If your team has a positive record and Watson has been sitting on your bench, this is where he should stay. Holding onto Watson is probably best because chances are you will not get much for him anyway. Based on matchups, he still could be a flex option based on injuries and by weeks. Watson is still getting red zone looks, and if the Packers could manage a decent run game, then the Packers will look to get Watson the ball down the field where he shined last season. If you want to add someone with low value and a high upside, then Watson might be the player you are looking for. Fantasy managers shouldn’t expect too much in return for Watson, so buying him low could be the move of the season.
Christian Watson has Favorable Matchups

Even though the Packers offense has looked shaky this season, the matchups Watson will see during the season are good. Teams like the Rams, Lions, Giants, and the Vikings all give Watson the opportunity to shine. The Packers will most likely have a lot more passing situations due to the competitive offenses they face, which will force the Packers to give Watson more opportunities. He is coming off his best game target, and we know he has big play ability, which was shown against the Raiders when he had a 77-yard catch and run. If the Packers offense could function properly, it’s hard to think Watson wouldn’t be a part of what’s helping it. Watson will need his Quarterback, Jordan Love, to step up and hit some of the deep balls he has missed this season.
Is it Christian Watson or the Offense?

When looking at this Packers offense, you could point fingers at everyone. From top to bottom, this offense has struggled. That being said, Watson has the ability to be a great player for this team. If this offense could have one game where it clicks, we could see Watson turn into a flex option. Watson loves the deep routes and getting looks in the endzone. He is everything you would want in a fantasy receiver. We could possibly see what happened last year, and Watson could turn into a league winner. As the Packers offense gets healthier, we could see a resurgence of good fantasy performances.
