The Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers are set to square off in an interesting Week 16 matchup. The Packers (6-8) still have a good shot to make the playoffs this year if they win out and finish 9-8. The Panthers (2-12) are coming off an upset victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
This will be the third game in a row that the Packers are facing, by all accounts, a beatable opponent. That opponent may now be without one of their best defensive players on Sunday.

According to Zach Kruse of The Packers Wire:
Packers added Caleb Jones (foot/illness) and Luke Musgrave (kidney) to the injury report, so the injury list is now up to 17 players.
Also, Panthers edge rusher Brian Burns (illness) did not practice for a second straight day
The Panthers’ best defensive player has missed a second straight day of practice leading up to their contest against the Packers on Sunday. Losing Burns would be devastating to an already underperforming defensive line.
