The departure of Malik Beasley in free agency has left the Milwaukee Bucks with a substantial void to fill heading into the new season. After all, Beasley knocked down 2.8 triples per game on a 41.3 percent clip last term, and it’s not as if the Bucks are going to pluck that out of thin air.
One man who could help their cause in a major way is Gary Trent Jr., who is reportedly now a potential free-agent recruit for the Bucks.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Gary Trent Jr. on the Radar

According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Bucks have now emerged as a suitor for the highly sought-after wing:
“Milwaukee is also among several contenders pursuing the top free agent remaining, Gary Trent Jr., league sources said,” Shams reported.
While Charania made no mention of the other contenders that are also in the mix for Trent, the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the teams that have been previously linked to the 25-year-old sharpshooter who averaged 2.5 triples per game last season on 39.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
In terms of one-fo-rone replacements for Beasley, it appears that Trent would be a great option for the Bucks.

Given what he brings to the table, however, it comes as no surprise that the Bucks will need to fend off other interested parties for Trent’s services. The Lakers are just one of the teams that have reportedly shown interest in the former Duke star, but the reality is that the Bucks will need to act swiftly and decisively if they want to bring Trent to Milwaukee.
