The Milwaukee Bucks are still doing everything they can to improve their roster ahead of the upcoming season. According to a new report, the team will hold a workout session this week in an attempt to unearth a potential addition/s to their squad.
One player who is now reportedly on their radar is 6-foot-5 shooting guard Will Barton.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Will Barton to Work Out With Team

According to NBA guru Shams Charania, Barton will be part of a group of players who will be working out with the Bucks in what can be described as a tryout for the team:
“The Bucks are in the market to sign a shooting guard and are expected to conduct a workout this week in Las Vegas. Eleven-year NBA veteran Will Barton will be among the players working out for the Bucks this week, league sources said,” Charania reported.
The names of other players who will be working out with Milwaukee were not disclosed, but it appears that Barton, an 11-year NBA veteran, is the most recognizable among the bunch,

Barton did not play in the NBA last season after failing to secure a contract with any team in the league. Instead, he played abroad in Spain and Puerto Rico.
The last time the 33-year-old was in the NBA was during the 2022-23 season when he suited up for the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors. Barton played 56 games in total for both teams, averaging 6.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, while also knocking down 1.2 triples per game on a 36.7-percent clip.
Should the Bucks decide to sign Barton, he is not expected to contend for the Sixth Man of the Year title like he did (twice) earlier in his career. He could prove to be a viable 3-and-D option off the bench, though, especially in the wake of Malik Beasley’s free-agency departure.
