“21, can you do something for me?”
Milwaukee’s own Jrue Holiday has been on a tear this season for the Bucks. After an impressive week (Jan 16-22), his efforts are being recognized as he was named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Holiday averaged 33.3 points, 9.3 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game in just three games. In Saturday’s loss against the Cavaliers, Holiday dropped 28 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, a block and a steal across 37 minutes of playing time. It was his fourth double-double in his last five appearances.
The last time (and only time) Jrue Holiday was an all-star was in 2013. Well, it’s been 10 years and I think Bucks fans and NBA fans alike are ready to see Holiday make another all-star appearance. He has definitely proved in these last couple of games that he is worthy of that all-star spot.
With no Giannis or Khris Middleton, it seems like Jrue Holiday is carrying the Bucks on his back. Over nine appearances in January, Holiday has managed to average 21.8 PPG, 7.4 APG, and 3.9 RPG. He’s also scored at least 20 points in five of his last six outings, respectively.
The Bucks will face off against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night with tip-off of 6:00PM. Catch our preview here.
