It doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, but the Wisconsin Badgers have missed the NCAA Tournament. This is the first time since the 2017-2018 season the Badgers did not hear their name called on Selection Sunday.
Why Wisconsin Missed the NCAA Tournament
Wisconsin had enough quad 1 and 2 wins to get in, but a poor NET ranking and only 17 total wins were going to make it hard for Wisconsin to get in.
The NIT bracket will be released later tonight. There is a chance the Badgers could be a part of that tournament and potentially a high seed. We will see, but unfortunately, there will be no March Madness and NCAA Tournament for the Wisconsin Badgers this year.
