The Green Bay Packers have been doing their homework so far this season at the kicker position. While there haven’t been any true indications yet that Mason Crosby won’t be the guy week one, he sure is facing a lot of competition. HC Matt LaFleur says Gabe Brkic tweaked a hammy in pregame warmups and continued to kick. He did mention that the injury is why the Packers signed a new kicker.

Congratulations to K Ramiz Ahmed on signing with the Packers! Ramiz played collegiately at Nevada Football and was a 2-time USFL Player of the week this season with the USFL Maulers. Ramiz hit a 61 yard FG this season vs USFL Generals. He previously spent time with the Bears.
