The Packers will miss two wide receivers in Week 7
Several key players were on the Green Bay Packers injury report in Week 7. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers appears to be just fine to start against the Washington Commanders. However, major holes will still be missing in the Packers’ offense. Several injuries at wide receiver have put the unit in bad shape.
According to a statement released by the Packers Friday afternoon, two wide receivers have been ruled out against the commanders. Christian Watson and Randall Cobb will be out in Week 7. Watson is battling a hamstring injury. Cobb sustained an ankle injury in the Packers’ Week six loss. The Packers also ruled out offensive lineman Jake Hanson.
The Packers’ offense might miss another wide receiver
Big news came out this week that Sammy Watkins is expected to be back off the injured reserve. Head coach Matt LaFleur announced Watkins would be practicing this week. However, LaFleur was cautious about the possibility of Watkins playing in Week 7. The coach said his odds of playing were up in the air as of Friday.
It’s a disappointing prognosis on a short-handed offense that put up ten points at home against the New York Jets. Wide receiver injuries aren’t the Packers’ only problem on offense. The offense line is hurting as well. According to Tom Silverstein with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Reporter, the Packers coaching staff is admitting Elgton Jenkins hasn’t returned to his usual self after the ACL injury.
#Packers OC Adam Stenavich said it's clear that Elgton Jenkins is not back to form yet coming back from a torn ACL and needs time to get to the level he was playing at before he was hurt. Moving to right tackle has been another challenge for him.

Jenkins did not practice on Friday. However, he was not listed as out or questionable for the Packers’ Week 7 game.
