However, around the NFL, news is surfacing about the Green Bay Packers’ former kicker, Mason Crosby. On Wednesday, Mike Garafalo reported about the Los Angeles Rams giving Crosby a chance to suit up for another team. This news was released via X:

Former Green Bay Packers Kicker Working Out With The Los Angeles Rams
Mason Crosby played all 16 years of his career with the Green Bay Packers. He is the all-time leader in points scored, with 1,1918. Crosby has also made the most extra points with 733 during his career with the Packers. The former Green Bay Packers kicker played with the organization from 2007-2022. His contract expired after last season.

Crosby is 39 years old and still deserves a chance to play. With the Packers, he made 395 field goals. His 733 extra points are the most made since he began his NFL career. Crosby was replaced by current Packers rookie kicker Anders Carlson, who was drafted in the sixth round of 2023.
Anders Carlson is 8-9 through six games in this 2023 season. He missed one field goal in the last game against the Denver Broncos. But he has kicked well so far this season. Hopefully, he can continue to get the job done for the Green Bay Packers special teams unit.
Rams Need A Kicker To Replace Brett Maher
Los Angeles Rams place kicker Brett Maher was released by the team on Tuesday. The Rams lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers by seven points in their last game. Maher missed two field goals and one extra point in the 24-17 loss. Los Angeles is looking to bring on Mason Crosby to replace Maher. Crosby is the best kicker in Green Bay Packers history, according to an NFL Media Report.
Hopefully, the former Packers’ kicker will get his chance to suit up for another NFL team. Some fans believe that Mason Crosby still has something left in the tank. He could certainly help a special team’s unit. Maybe, with the Los Angeles Rams giving him this opportunity, he will still be able to prove what he can do!
