Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is getting his team prepared to face the Green Bay Packers this weekend. Los Angeles is 4-5 on the year and Green Bay is 3-6 on the year. Staley’s team has one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season and it is ranked 31st.
This season, they have given up over 475 yards in four games. The Packers offense who looked better last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, could use another good game against a bad defense this week.
According to Daniel Popper, the Athletic beat writer for the Los Angeles Chargers mentioned that Brandon Staley will continue to call plays on the defensive side of the football for them on Sunday against Green Bay. His defense has not been great over the three years he has been coaching them.

This fanbase has not been happy at all this season they have a 4-5 record and are underachieving because of a horrible defense despite having Justin Herbert as the starting quarterback. The Green Bay Packers offense needs to get going early and often and continue to put pressure on the Chargers offense to score constantly.
That has been the theme for them all season long. When Staley was hired as head coach three years ago when he was the defensive coordinator under Sean McVay for one season with the Los Angeles Rams, he was brought in to fix the defense, but it has never happened.
Derrick Ansley is listed as the Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator, but maybe Staley needs to hand off the defensive play-calling duties to him. This could be his ultimate downfall at the end of the year and this is also Ansley’s first year as the Chargers defensive coordinator.
Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich and head coach Matt LaFleur need to come up with a ground-and-pound game plan against this horrendous defense. It is also time for quarterback Jordan Love to have another big game.
