The Green Bay Packers have lost two of their top offensive coaches from this past season. Nathaniel Hackett is the new head coach of the Denver Broncos. He previously served as the Packers’ offensive coordinator under Matt LaFleur. Luke Getsy, the Packers’ passing game coordinator and quarterbacks’ coach, is the new offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears. As a result of these moves, Adam Stenavich, last season’s offensive line coach, was promoted to offensive coordinator. Luke Butkus was also promoted to fill Stenavich’s now-vacant role as the Packers’ offensive line coach. Butkus is the nephew of former Chicago Bears legend Dick Butkus.

Dick Butkus has become a sort of social media sensation over the last few weeks. The news of his nephew’s promotion within the ranks of his former team’s archrival provided him with another opportunity to endear himself to Bears (and some Packers) fans.

Of course, Dick Butkus faced the Green Bay Packers plenty of times in his long career with the Chicago Bears. As Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated pointed out, the Bears went 4-14 in those games.
The Hall of Fame linebacker also provided Twitter with a fantastic picture of Luke Butkus during his college football days.
