in The Green Bay Packers’ offensive line coach/run game coordinator Adam Stenavich is being promoted to offensive coordinator per Ian Rapoport. Matt Lafluer stood by his word when he said he was “strongly considering” internal candidates. What Adam Stenavich did this past season with a make shift offensive line much of the year was nothing short of remarkable.
Who is Adam Stenavich?
Adam Stenavich, who is 38 years old , joined the Packers as an OL coach in 2019. He was one of Matt LaFleur’s first hires as head coach. Adam Stenavich is a native of Marshfield, Wisconsin. He began his NFL coaching career in 2017 with the San Francisco 49ers. As a player he spent time on the Panthers, Packers, Cowboys, and Texans practice squads from 2006-2010 as an offensive tackle.
What will make Adam Stenavich a good OC?
Adam Stenavich was praised all year long for the work he did not only with the offensive line, but in the run game. Green Bay had their starting left tackle, starting left guard, starting center, and starting right guard all miss significant time this past season. Even with all these injuries Green Bay’s offensive line remained one of the top units in the NFL all year long. Here is what Aaron Rodgers had to say about him early in the season:
"I think he's got a future above offensive line coach for sure"
Here is what Aaron Rodgers said about the new Packers' offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich after their week four win over the Steelers.

Adam Stenavich will improve our run game:
No matter who is playing quarterback for the Packers next year, Matt Lafuer has engulfed himself in the passing attack. Nathaniel Hackett (now the Broncos Head Coach) was brought in to maximize the run game, which he did. Hackett didn’t accomplish this without what Stenavich did all year long with the offensive line. Matt Lafluer’s coaching tree is in full effect and we get to see what they’re capable of next year.
