Baker Mayfield was historically good against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. Mayfield led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 34-20 win over the Packers on Sunday.

The win keeps the Buccaneers tied with the New Orleans Saints atop the NFC South with a 7-7 record. The loss drops the Packers to 6-8, knocking Green Bay back in a tight NFC wild card race. The Buccaneers and Mayfield could have jumpstarted a late playoff push with their win on Sunday.

Mayfield did something in the win that has never been done at Lambeau Field before. According to the NFL on CBS, Mayfield became the first visiting team quarterback to have a perfect passer rating at Lambeau Field.

Many fans on social media wanted Packers’ defensive coordinator Joe Barry to be fired after the dismal display from his unit on Sunday. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he isn’t planning to change the defensive coaching midseason. But LaFleur might change his mind when he sees the tape of Mayfield shredding his defense.

That was the most embarrassing D at Lambeau I have seen in 50 yrs ! At home, in front of the fans, a below .500 opponent, a career below average opposing QB. Either Joe Barry is a historically bad DC or they have given up on him altogether
