Earlier in the week the Milwaukee Brewers and 2021 Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes had an arbitration hearing over $740k. The Brewers offered $10.01 million while Burnes was looking for $10.75 million. The Brewers won the hearing and Burnes will be making $10.01 million for the year which is still good money.
