The Green Bay Packers already are going to be without one of their starters due to injury as a result of plays from their Week Seven loss to the Denver Broncos. Darnell Savage, who exited the game in the second quarter, reaggravated his calf injury and could be placed on injured reserve. The Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo have agreed on a three-year $186 million contract extension that will keep him with the team that drafted him through at least the 2026-27 season. The deal also includes a player option for 2027-28. As it so happens, Giannis’ new extension also means that he will definitely be in Milwaukee for the duration of the remainder of Damian Lillard’s contract. The Green Bay Packers dropped to 2-4 following an embarrassing 19-17 loss to the woeful Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon. Despite having two weeks to prepare, Matt LaFleur’s offense came out of the gates stagnant, again, and failed to score a first half touchdown for the fourth consecutive game. What is worrisome is that the players and coaches seem just as confused about what could be wrong as fans do.
