Racine native Vinny Rottino, the 2004 Milwaukee Brewers Minor League Player of the Year, on October 27 was inducted into the Racine County Sports Hall of Fame. He is currently a member of the Brewers’ Bally Sports broadcast team. Rottino graduated from Racine St. Catherine’s High School where he was the county’s Baseball Player of the Year in 1998. He played college baseball at UW-LaCrosse and was selected All-Conference in 2001 and 2002. He became the first UW-L baseball player to receive Division 3 All-American honors in ’02 when he batted .410 and set a school record with 15 home…
