Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen

There’s no doubt Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen is arguably the best player on the roster. There’s also no doubt he is one of the best players in the Big Ten and the country. That was on display as according to PPF College, Braelon Allen was included as the 43rd best player in the country on their top 50 list. Why Allen Was Included https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1686415744492503041 It’s become obvious Braelon Allen is one of the best running backs in the country. In his first two years at Wisconsin, he has rushed for almost 2,500 yards. A majority of those yards have…

After looking at the quarterback depth chart for the Wisconsin Badgers yesterday, today I switch to the running backs. The duo of Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi is one of the best in the Big Ten and can be one of the best in the country. Wisconsin is fortunate to have two running backs who could start for most teams on their side. Here is how I see the running back room shaking out this year. Starter- Braelon Allen (Junior) It would be a surprise if Braelon Allen played his senior year next year at Wisconsin. Barring anything crazy, he…

Luke Fickell 3

Over the last two days, it’s been Big Ten Media days for the college football season. During this session at Lucas Oil Stadium, each coach gets about 15 minutes to address the media on what they can expect this season and answer any questions during their allotted time. First year Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell was the second last coach to go to the podium. Here were some takeaways from his press conference. What Defines Success In Year One Fickell assumed this question would be asked so he answered the question in his opening statements. He mentioned he wants to…

It’s a great feeling to say that Wisconsin Football is back next week! Not the game portion but fall camp opens up next week. It will be a quick month of August and then the season begins September 2 against Buffalo. Wisconsin has made a ton of changes since November beginning with the hire of new head coach Luke Fickell. Players also left while new players came in. It’s been a whirlwind the last eight months. With that being said, here are three big story lines that will be surrounding the Badgers this season. How Quick Can The Offense Adjust…

Today I complete my top 10 most important Wisconsin Badgers for the 2023 season list. Throughout this list, I have listed players on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I’ve even included a coach as well. At number one to complete the list, I am going with head coach Luke Fickell. The first year coach has a lot of eyes on him as the expectation is to compete right away. A team is only as good as the individual in charge of leading them. Included is a list of numbers 2-10 as well. Tanner Mordecai Braelon Allen Maema…

Maema Illinois

After selecting Phil Longo as one of the most important Wisconsin Badgers in 2023, I return to the defensive side at number four. I believe senior linebacker Maema Njongmeta is Wisconsin’s best defensive player. As one of the better players on that side of the ball, you’re going to be one of the individuals that needs to stand out if your team is going to be successful. Phil Longo Chimere Dike Alexander Smith Jack Nelson Clay Cundiff Chez MellusI Why Njongmeta After recording only four tackles in the 2021 season, Maema Njongmeta broke out in 2022. He led the team…

Clay Cundiff 8. Jack Nelson 7. Alexander Smith 6. Chimere Dike Why Longo Pressure might not be the right word to describe this, but there are a lot of expectations for Phil Longo in his first year.…

Chimere Dike

As I continue to look at the most important Wisconsin Badgers in 2023, I return to the offensive side of the ball. At number six, I went with senior wide receiver Chimere Dike. Dike will be the lone senior in a young but talented wide receiver room. Dike has made strides in his first three year which is what you want to see in a young pass catcher. In his senior year, I have a good feeling about Dike’s production. You can also read numbers 7-10 below as well. Alexander Smith Jack Nelson Clay Cundiff Chez Mellusi Why Dike When…
