It was reported yesterday that Badgers basketball guard/forward Jordan Davis would be entering the transfer portal. In my off-season preview, I mentioned him as a player that could potentially be on the move but it’s always unfortunate to lose home grown talent. Considering what his brother Johnny did in Madison last year to become an NBA lottery pick, it was tough to see Jordan struggle at times. With Wisconsin losing 56-54 to North Texas on Tuesday night, the focus shifts to what is an important off-season. It’s rare for the Badgers to finish outside of the top 4 in the conference, not too mention below .500 in conference play and miss the NCAA tournament. The Milwaukee Brewers have more or less locked in their roster for the start of the 2023 campaign. Mlb.com reporter Adam McCalvy reported Luke Voit had been signed to a 1 year contract with a club option for 2024.
