packers offensive line

For the past decade, the Green Bay Packers have had a solid offensive line, but this year is not the case. After losing RT Billy Turner, the o-line has had a gap at that position. Currently, Elgton Jenkins is trying to fit there, but it doesn’t seem like a good fit, and his replacement at RG is wholeheartedly struggling. Comparing pressure percentage from the last two seasons to this season, you can see an increase in pressure on Aaron Rodgers. Before, he had a pressure of 14.2% in 2020, and 22.3% in 2021. But that has been up to 26.5%…

Joe Barry scaled

Coming into the 2022 NFL season, most fans thought the wide receiver core would be the issue. But that has not been the case so far. As of right now, the biggest issue lies with the defense and Joe Barry. The Green Bay Packers have one of the strongest defensive units in football, but the play calling is not playing to the strengths of the players. When the offense doesn’t score, the defense has to make up and reduce chances of scoring. Admittedly, against the Giants, the Packers offense was terrible in the second half. They didn’t score at all…

Zach Lowe of ESPN released a podcast on the 27th of September titled Friedell, Marks, and Lopez. During his discussion with fellow ESPN contributor Bobby Marks, Lowe discussed hypothetical Jae Crowder trades. Jae Crowder is very clearly on the trade block. So much so that Crowder made a public statement on twitter where he makes it known that he intends to be on a new team this upcoming season despite having one year left on his contract. ONE MUST SEEK WORK WHERE HE IS WANTED.. WHERE HE IS NEEDED.! I AM THANKFUL FOR WHAT THESE PAST 2 YRS HAVE TAUGHT…

Quick note before we begin. This is all meant in good fun and saying one player is better is not a diss to the other. Both of these men are world class basketball players and were integral pieces to an NBA Championship. If you would like to make your opinion known please vote in this poll and I will write another article when those results are in. Within the last couple weeks both ESPN and CBS Sports have released their NBA player rankings. From100-1 both sites agreed that Giannis Antetokounmpo was the best player in the league. The Packers face their first cross-conference opponent in week four when the New England Patriots come to Lambeau field. Packers faced one-half of the historic Brady and Belichick combo last week when they traveled to Tampa Bay. The Packers were able to beat Brady and the Bucs 14-12. The Patriots are 1-2 and may have just lost starting quarterback Mac Jones for some time. Bill Belichick won’t have his starting quarterback at his disposal for this matchup, and he knows the threat Aaron Rodgers presents. Belicheck went on “The Greg Hill Show” Monday and talked glowingly about Rodgers. “He’s very…

DAVID BERDING ASSOCIATED PRESS

David Bakhtiari, Offensive Tackle for the Packers has returned and did not skip a beat coming back. It has been a long and arduous journey returning from a torn ACL in December of 2020. However, when asked in the locker room after the game how he was feeling, he said he was “pumped full of adrenaline.” Bakhtiari did not play a full share of snaps as he split snaps with backup Yosh Nijman, handling 34 of the Packers’ 60 total offensive snaps. Between the two of them, they only allowed one pressure in the game. In the post game interview…

ESPN has been slowly releasing their NBA player rankings over the last couple days. On Friday (9/23/2022) they released their top 5. Only a couple of days after CBS Sports released their own version.  The ESPN and CBS versions featured many disagreements on player rankings. One thing was exactly the same on both though. Between ESPN, CBS Sports and even NBA 2K23 everyone seems to agree that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in the league. Number One I don’t want to repeat myself so if you are interested, here were my thoughts about Giannis getting the number one rating…

Joe Barry’s defense got out to a rough start Sunday night, and it looked like fans were in for a repeat of the Vikings game. However, Barry’s defense got it together and only allowed three points for the rest of the night. The Packers turned the Bears away on fourth and goal and basically ended the game. That didn’t stop Jaire Alexander from delivering the final dagger. Take a look at Joe Barry’s reaction to his number one corner getting the interception. https://twitter.com/ScottGrodsky/status/1571990827403993088 The video, courtesy of Scott Grodsky, shows Joe Barry letting it all out after the first interception…
