Will Aaron Rodgers be traded this off-season? That is a question that may not be answered for another month or so. Aaron Rodgers didn’t sign his massive three-year $150 million extension until March 8th, 2022. I would expect it to be around the same time this year that we hear news regarding his future in 2023. That being said, if he decides to come back and the Packers are set on trading him, one trade scenario surfaced that would send the four-time MVP to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Trade Package Surfaces For Rodgers To Raiders Scenario
Joe Arrigo, who covers all sports in Las Vegas, proposed this trade scenario for Aaron Rodgers:
Raiders receive:
- • Aaron Rodgers
Packers receive:
- • TE Darren Waller
- • 2023 1st round Pick (7)
- • 2024 1st Round Pick
This type of trade would be a dream scenario for the Packers. Getting a solidified tight-end, something they haven’t had in years, would be huge. Also getting two first round draft picks would help set them up for the next era in Green Bay. Joe also went on to elaborate more in the post saying he thinks there are more teams who may be competing for Aaron Rodgers than people may think. “I think there are others that are public, but I also believe Rodgers has a bigger market around the league, in spite of his performance this season.” He went on to mention the other teams he may think would be in contention to trade for Aaron Rodgers:
- Jets
- Titans
- Colts
- Miami (possibly, but don’t have a 1st)
- Houston
- Patriots
- Ravens (possibly)
Either way the Packers are likely to get at least one first round pick for Aaron Rodgers if they decide to trade him. Earlier this month, Jets Owner Woody Johnson Says He Will Give Up “Multiple Firsts” For Aaron Rodgers. They are currently the unofficial front runners to pursue Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers will want at least two 1st round picks in a trade for QB Aaron Rodgers, Peter King shares in his column. King adds that Jets owner Woody Johnson would happily pay that price. The question remains if Rodgers even wants to play for NY.

This is just a clock bait article. No one is going to take 2 first round picks for a near 40 year old QB. Not too mention 1 that is coming off a bad year and is making $50 million a year. Maybe focus on quality writing and logic as opposed to outlandish statements in order to get guess.
