Currently in his 18th NFL season with the Green Bay Packers, the four-time MVP, Aaron Rodgers, only has one Super Bowl win under his belt.
The Packers selected Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft. In 2008, when Brett Favre retired, he became the starting quarterback. Before Rodgers joined the team, the Green Bay Packers had won the Super Bowl three times- in 1967, 1968, and 1997.
Super Bowl XLV
Aaron Rodgers made his first Super Bowl appearance on February 6, 2011, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. In turn, the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25.
The game was shocking because the Steelers had previously participated in eight Super Bowls and won six. However, by halftime, they were already down 21-10.
The results might have been different if the Steelers had been on their game. However, their offense was lacking, and Rashard Mendenhall’s fumble ultimately led to the Packers’ winning touchdown.
The Packers’ defense was weak after halftime, without Charles Woodson and Sam Shields. However, it didn’t affect them much, thanks to Ben Roethlisberger’s multiple poor decisions.
Roethlisberger ended the game with a 77.4 passer rating, 263 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Rodgers in NFC Championship Games
Out of 32 NFL quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers is one of twelve who has been in at least five championship games. Unfortunately, the Packers quarterback has a winning record in the playoff games but seems to struggle when it counts.
Out of the five NFC North championships Rodgers has been in, he has lost 4. His winning game in 2011 led the Packers to win Super Bowl XLV. Since then, the Packers have lost in:
- 2014 to the Seattle Seahawks
- 2016 to the Atlanta Falcons
- 2019 to the San Francisco 49ers
- 2020 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Awards and Achievements
A handful of Aaron Rodgers’ most notable awards include:
- NFC Offensive Player of the Year 2011, 2014, 2020
- NFC Offensive Player of the Month, ten times
- NFC Offensive Player of the Week, 19 times

While Rodgers is not eligible to be nominated for the Hall of Fame yet, I have no doubts that he will be there before 2030.
