Aaron Rodgers Reaction to the Quay Walker Draft Pick

After an entire off-season of speculating that the Green Bay Packers would take a wide receiver in the first round, with the 22nd pic they took a linebacker.  Quay Walker will bring much-needed run defense to the Packers’ defense. Aaron Rodgers was on the Pat McAfee show with his reaction:

Aaron Rodgers also states that he knew the direction of the Packers first round intentions:

Quay Walker in jubilated disbelief when informed #Packers drafted Georgia teammate Devonte Wyatt with the 28th pick: "You say we picked Devonte Wyatt? Noooo. Oh man, that's crazy. It's a reunion! Dang, that's crazy. I'm probably going to cry again."

For the most part it seems as though QB1 and the General Manager were on the same page for tonight’s draft picks.  That is very promising for their relationship going forward and their intentions for tomorrow night’s second and third round.
