Aaron Rodgers and his prospective new team learned of some rather disappointing news today. After a 16-year hiatus, the Sacramento Kings punched their own ticket back into the NBA playoffs with a 120-80 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. While those two teams have nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers, or the New York Jets, the playoff clinch does mean something.

Talked with Jets Coach Robert Saleh. About Rodgers saying he intends to play for the Jets: “Two years ago when we first got there, just thinking about where we were and how far we’ve come, to have a guy like him want to play for us is pretty cool and shows how far we’ve come.”
