The New York Jets have made it clear they are interested in trading for Aaron Rodgers. Ever since the Green Bay Packers season ended on January 8th, 2023, trade speculations began. From the start, the New York Jets have been a favorite to land the four-time MVP. Now with Aaron Rodgers stating his intentions to play for the Jets, those rumors are on the brink of coming to fruition. Now, New York Jets head Coach Robert Saleh has broken his silence regarding the pending trade.
New York Jets Head Coach Breaks Silence On Aaron Rodgers Trade

According to Judy Battista of NFL.com:
Talked with Jets Coach Robert Saleh. About Rodgers saying he intends to play for the Jets: “Two years ago when we first got there, just thinking about where we were and how far we’ve come, to have a guy like him want to play for us is pretty cool and shows how far we’ve come.”
The last thing that needs to happen is the actual trade itself. The New York Jets have openly admitted they would give up a lot in order to obtain the future Hall Of Famer. Now that it has been made public that the trade is likely to happen, the Green Bay Packers seem to be standing firm on what they want in return. At a minimum, the Packers want a first-round pick, something the New York Jets don’t seem to be willing to offer. However, a recent trade may indicate that the Jets are gearing up another trade offer.
