At this point, it’s safe to say that Aaron Rodgers is loving life with the New York Jets. There was a whole lot of drama in the build-up to his rather unceremonious divorce from the Green Bay Packers, but in truth, we all knew this was a long time coming.
For his part, Rodgers could not be happier. So much so, that the four-time league MVP actually feels like he’s living the dream in New York.
Aaron Rodgers Has to Pinch Himself Regularly
In a recent interview, the former Packers cornerstone quarterback got 100% real about life with the Jets. While he hasn’t played a single minute for his new team just yet, the 39-year-old is already feeling over the moon amid his offseason switch:
“It’s really been better that I could have expected,” Rodgers said, via Josh Alper of PFT. “It feels like sometimes that I woke up inside of a dream and that this is my life playing out. I pinch myself at various times throughout the week every single week that I’ve been here.”
Clearly, Aaron Rodgers is really, really loving life with his new team.
Aaron Rodgers Clowned on Twitter for Recent Remarks
You can be sure that Green Bay Packers fans aren’t as excited as Rodgers in terms of his current standing with the Jets. In fact, you might say that Cheeseheads are feeling the exact opposite.
Some fans could not help but troll Rodgers on Twitter with some hilarious jabs about his “living the dream” comments:
It's probably just the hallucinogenics

Dude is flat-earth weird. Wait for that losing streak. And 100 mics in his face after practice. And TMZ racing to catch him filling his gas tank. Dude about to change his tune.

You just know that there were going to be a couple of Ayahuasca references out there and true enough, Twitter did not disappoint. While Rodgers is definitely enjoying his new-found glory, there’s also no denying that more than a few fans out there aren’t exactly wishing him all the best.
