The Green Bay Packers just suffered their worst loss in recent memory. The Packers matched up against the worst defense in the NFL today and managed NINE points. The Lions’ defense ranked dead last in points allowed per game (32.1) and yards allowed per game (421.3). That was before they played the Packers. Following the loss, Aaron Rodgers took to the podium to talk about the game. One comment he made rubbed fans the wrong way.

Aaron Rodgers: “I played shitty, but I never gave up.”

Once upon a time I remember being told players who didn’t play well shouldn’t be on the field regardless of effort. https://t.co/AU4wOgAowu

This is what you want your expensive HOF QB to say, after playing shitty all year. Shitty 3 of every 5 plays. I’m glad you didn’t give up, I’d hope not after making 60M a year.
This loss was specifically on you. If “never giving up” was a NFL standard of greatness we’d all be $ https://t.co/bnbw0ncNAI

Aaron Rodgers finished today completing 23 of his 43 pass attempts (53%). He also recorded 291 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions. Just a brutal day overall for the back to back reigning MVP. While Rodgers says he remains hopeful going forward this season, many fans feel the opposite. Their next three games include the Cowboys (6-2), Titans (5-2), and Eagles (8-0). The toughest part of their schedule is far from over.

He should have gave up and thay could have put Jordan love in and paid him Rodgers 60 million for 1 game we’d have won then he socks
Y’all “Roger haters” are absolutely insane to think that after a few bad games he should be replaced. Really? Give me a break…. Get him some help and get off his back he’s been carrying the team on it for enough years now. When you have no talent in receiving how in the world is he supposed to live up to the unreasonably expectations that this negative media is asking for? Back to back MVP Champ and this is the thanks he gets? Absolutely ridiculous…
