Following the Green Bay Packers’ loss to the New York Jets in Week 6, Aaron Rodgers made some pretty strong comments about the offense going forward. In his post-game interview, Rodgers suggested the offense needs to simply their scheme. In Monday’s press conference, head coach Matt LaFleur was asked about Rodgers’ comments. LaFleur said he didn’t know what Rodgers meant. The 4-time MVP quarterback was then asked what he thought about LaFleur’s “I don’t know” comment. His answer may surprise you.
Aaron Rodgers Responds to LaFleur’s “I Don’t Know” Comment
“The point was if we’re not executing those plans, which, to be honest, they’re not the most complex things the majority of the time. Then the only slight reaction might be to even simplify things even further. That doesn’t mean fewer motions or checks at the line of scrimmage. It just means, let’s make sure these guys can handle what we’re doing.”

Where Do The Packers Go From Here?
A win would help, right? Aaron Rodgers has said in the past, winning cures all. The Packers have a real shot to do that this week as they take on the Commanders’ second-string Quarterback. The fans and media have been begging the offense to give Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon more touches. Sammy Watkins could also be returning to the team this week. Those two factors alone could be enough to get the offense on the right track. Romeo Doubs has also been a vocal point of this offense at times. Feeding him more targets has to be a priority.
