The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers after a four game layoff. Despite the rest, Milwaukee was without the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton once again. While injuries can be frustrating, it is part of the game. Obviously, it is better to have Giannis and Middleton close to or at 100% before they return to the court. This will be better for them and the team in the long run. However, in their absence, one fan favorite has not been getting the playing time fans expected.

Bucks Fans Call of MarJon Beauchamp Minutes
MarJon Beauchamp, of course, was the Bucks’ first round pick in this past NBA draft. Over the course of the season, Beauchamp has shown flashes of brilliance. On November 14, Beauchamp received 34 minutes of playing time and poured in 20 points. However, he has also gown through stretches of poor shooting. For example, in his last five games played, Beauchamp is shooting just 28.6% from the floor and 21.1% from three.
That being said, there is a vocal portion of Bucks fans that want head coach Mike Budenholzer to give the first round pick a chance to develop:
I’d rather see Marjon over Grayson and Pat rn. Let the rook play atp pic.twitter.com/5HQBbuPy5S

Why is MarJon rotting on the bench. Bootyholzer will pay for his sins.

MarJon was bad in Miami but still a bummer he can't get a sniff of floor the last 2 games while 2 young guys who are hopeless defenders in Green/Nwora get minutes for their offense (and perhaps trade showcase for Nwora). Not surprising Bucks bench has been shredded defensively. https://t.co/UUGx7o0N0d

Wait, Marjon is available and Nwora is still out there?

It may be worth noting that through his own last five games, Jordan Nwora, who is mentioned a great deal in the Tweets above, is shooting 43/61/85 from the floor. To be sure, Beauchamp is a much better defender, but Coach Budenholzer’s teams have always been about offense, even when he was coaching the Atlanta Hawks.
Perhaps a better candidate for Beauchamp to play over is Jevon Carter. In his past three games, Carter is shooting 20/0/50 from the floor.
