Noah Sewell Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Sewell has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- He’s a high-motor player, and Sewell shows good enough hand use, as well as a tight spin move, to win as an edge rusher
- He can be used as a rangy run defender inside, instinctive when it comes to locating the ball with the quickness to get to it before blockers can react at the second level
- Good closing speed with long arms to drag down quarterbacks and running backs
Weaknesses
- As good as Sewell is attacking downhill, he can get overaggressive and overrun plays, opening up cutback lanes for counter runs
- As explosive as he is as an athlete, he needs to become a better finisher

Noah Sewell in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Sewell is a projected second-round pick. Yet another player that can play on the edge, he does sneak into the first round on some mock drafts depending on the preference of skill set. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Sewell being drafted.
- SB Nation – No. 16 overall: Commanders
- Touchdown Wire – No. 17 overall: Steelers
- Pro Football Network – No. 28 overall: Broncos
Would Noah Sewell Fit on the Packers?
The Packers could use some edge depth as the pass rush faltered late in the season. I don’t think he fits perfectly in the system that the Packers are trying to run but his versatility is interesting. As I stated above, the OLB/Edge position is full of good prospects and every GM will have their order a little different.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
What concerns me most about Sewell is stopping the run. Quay Walker had trouble with being overaggressive and I think the Packers would prefer to fix that rather than bring in another over-aggressive linebacker. However, if the Packers are confident that they can coach the over-aggressiveness out, Sewell would be another good pick for the Packers.
