Over the years Brett Favre has had his fair share of public opinions of Aaron Rodgers. After Pat McAfee and later Aaron Rodgers himself confirmed that he was returning, Favre had some things to say.
Brett Favre’s SiriusXM Radio Show:
On Favre’s radio show he announced he wasn’t surprised Rodgers was returning. “I assume that Aaron’s objective is to get to the Super Bowl. I think most people would assume that as well.” Favre said. “That being said, his best chance to get to the Super Bowl has been in Green Bay the last two years.” His full comments here:

Hall of Famer @BrettFavre said he wasn't surprised Aaron Rodgers decided to stay with the @Packers.

Why is Brett Favre correct?
The NFC is Green Bay’s for the taking. Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Jimmy Garoppolo are all gone or soon to be gone out of the NFC. The Bears have traded away their best defensive player in Khalil Mack as well as another starter on the defensive line. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals are in disarray. Green Bay should be heavy favorites in the NFC and Aaron Rodgers staying was his best chance to get back to the Super Bowl.
