Having one All-Pro on the team is an accomplishment. The Packers have possibly 6 All-Pros, which could change the trajectory of the Packers’ 2023-24 season. The Packers’ 2023-24 season is covered in a haze. Nobody knows how the season will start and end. Under Aaron Rodgers, the Packers have lost their last two week 1 games, where they came out flat and unprepared. That could change under Jordan Love, who has been practicing and building a rapport with his receivers. The Packers could come out strong with a QB who has been preparing the whole offseason.
The team has a lot of young talent and potential. It’s up to the coaching staff to tap into that potential. The team not right now is an enigma. Nobody knows what the team is going to be or how it’s going to perform. Despite that, there are still a few Packers players who are among the best at their position and could earn All-Pro honors this season.
David Bakhtiari

This one goes without saying. When healthy, Bakhtiari is the best LT in the entire NFL. The key word is healthy, but there is a lot of optimism around him being fully healthy for the 2023-24 season. Bakhtiari earned his second 1st team All-Pro the last time he was fully healthy.
Up to this point in his career, Bakhtiari has earned two 1st team All-Pros, three 2nd team All-Pros, and 3 Pro Bowl nods.
Despite his injury concerns, optimism is very high for another elite season for Bakhtiari. This is because, despite not playing fully healthy last season, Bakhtiari was still among the highest-rating pass-blockers last season. In fact, in his 597 snaps, he did not allow a single sack (per PFF).
Jaire Alexander

The logic with Jaire is the same as Bakhtiari’s. Jaire is a top 5 CB in the league and is coming off one of the best seasons of his already elite career. Last season, Jaire posted career-bests in interceptions with 5, a passer rating allowed of 63.7(per PFR), and tied his career-high in stops with 17 (per PFF).
Jaire has already earned two 2nd team All-Pro nods and two Pro Bowl selections. If Jaire can build upon his 2022-23 season, there is no reason he shouldn’t, at minimum, earn a 2nd team All-Pro selection.
De’Vondre Campbell

Campbell is only a year removed from his first All-Pro season. Campbell had a down year last season but still had a very good season. Last season, Campbell missed four games due to injury, but he still posted 96 tackles, 6 TFLs, 27 stops, and 2 interceptions (one returned for a TD).
Campbell will turn 30 this upcoming season, so it’s not as if his age will make him worse. Everything is going in favor of Campbell having another elite season. The Packers’ defense has only improved since last year, losing only Adrian Amos and Dean Lowry. Both were replaced in the draft and free agency. Campbell also gets to play next to an incredibly athletic Quay Walker, who looks to build upon a very up-and-down 2022-23 season.
A lot will be asked of Campbell next year as he tries to lead the Packers’ defense to their first top-10 finish (points and yards) since 2010.
Keisean Nixon

Nixon was a revelation to the Packers’ special teams unit last year. The Packers boasted one of the worst special teams units in the league the last few years, and Nixon almost single-handedly turned the special teams into a threat.
Last season was Nixon’s first year as a full-time return man. Nixon led the entire NFL in kick returns and yards, with 35 and 1009, respectively. Nixon also returned one kick for a TD last season. The absurdity of these stats is that Nixon didn’t return his first kick until week six and didn’t become the full-time returner until week 8. Nixon led all returners in multiple stats and only had half a season of statistics. Nixon earned 1st team All-Pro recognition for how well he played in half a season.
Nixon will have an entire season’s worth of statistics in the 2023-24 season. The NFL record for kick return yards is 2,186 yards, set by Martay Jenkins in 2000. Based on Nixon’s averages (97.7 kick return yards/game), Nixon would’ve finished 10th on the all-time list. With an entire season of returning kicks under his belt, Nixon could be poised to come close to breaking that record and earning a second straight 1st team All-Pro selection.
Aaron Jones

The offense will run through Aaron Jones next year. Jones is coming off a career-high (1,121) in rushing yards last season while only averaging 12.5 carries a game. Jones had 1,516 yards from scrimmage last year, which averages out to about 16 touches a game. With a big emphasis on the run game next year, Jones could see close to 20 carries a game, which, with his efficiency, would turn into elite production.
AJ Dillon being in the backfield will hurt Jones’ production, but Jones could still see 350-400 touches next season (20.5 – 23.5 touches/ game). Jones can become a Christian McCaffrey type of runningback. It just comes down to how willing the coaches are to give him that chance.
If Dillon doesn’t siphon all of Jones’ TDs next year, Jones could produce a 2,000-yard – 20 TD season (total yards and TDs), which should immediately put Jones not only in the conversation for first-team All-Pro but also for Offensive Player of the Year. Jones is the most established pass catcher on the team, so Love will likely be targeting him a lot as Love acclimates to the NFL. Jones could see close to 100 targets next season.
Don’t be surprised to see 1400 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards for Aaron Jones next season.
Elgton Jenkins

Finally, one of the most versatile offensive linemen in the league gets his recognition. Jenkins is elite at every position on the offensive line. That said, he is at his best when playing left guard full-time. Due to injuries, either to himself or his teammates, Jenkins only had one season where he played left guard full-time, his rookie season. Jenkins has already earned two Pro Bowl selections, and he could be well on his way to making his first All-Pro selection to go along with a third Pro Bowl selection.
With Bakhtiari fully healthy and the improvement from the younger offensive linemen, Jenkins should finally have a season where he can play at his natural position. If we get a full year of Bakhtiari and Jenkins on the left side, the league better watch out. Bakhtiari and Jenkins could become the best left-side in all of football.
Final Thoughts
There is a very small chance that all 6 players make an All-Pro team, as it is challenging to get even 1 All-Pro selection. It is most likely that Jaire Alexander, David Bakhtiari, and Keisean Nixon are up for All-Pro selections, either on the first or second teams.
The 2023-24 season is a turning point for the Packers, as Aaron Rodgers’ tenure in Green Bay is over. For the first time since 2008, the Packers have a new starting QB.
The Packers need not just these 6 players but the rest of the team to perform incredibly well for them to succeed. Luckily, Love needs to play at an average level for this team to compete, which is why I have faith in Aaron Jones to have an incredible season. The Packers will likely be competitive next season because the offense will run through Jones, and the Packers are 25-3 when Jones has 15+ carries.
