A few months back, Milwaukee Bucks veteran Malik Beasley went viral for saying that “it’s not going to be pretty” for the Indiana Pacers if they meet up in the Playoffs. Well, that time has come, and Beasley and the Bucks will now have to walk the walk — especially with the Pacers entering this series with a 4-1 regular-season advantage over them.
Beasley was recently asked to revisit his previous warning to Indiana, which unsurprisingly, had the 27-year-old doubling down on his previous statement.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Malik Beasley Reiterates Pacers Dig
At this point, there’s just no way Beasley is going to pedal back. If anything, he’s now reiterated his desire to take down the Pacers once and for all:
“The first thing I said was, ‘It’s not going to be pretty for them,'” he said. “I still stand by that. Kudos to them if things are different, but I don’t see that happening. I see us coming out with energy, coming out with defense, and stopping the other team.”

Beasley and the Bucks will have their hands full, though. Giannis Antetokounmpo is not expected to suit up to start the series, which will make things extremely difficult for an undermanned Milwaukee side.
Beasley, in particular, will need to step up to the plate. He’s been on a brutal shooting slump of late, and there’s no denying that he will need to be much better if he hopes to help his team overcome Tyrese Haliburton and Co. — especially after what he’s come out to say here.
