It’s hard to believe, but the Wisconsin Football season is already through three weeks. A quarter of the season is now completed for most teams. Wisconsin Football currently sits at 2-1 after a 35-14 win over Georgia Southern last week. Now, the Badgers begin their Big Ten portion of the schedule. At 2-1, where do I rank Wisconsin with the rest of the Big Ten?

Why Wisconsin Football at 6 and Other Quick Hits

No other Big Ten team I ranked ahead of Wisconsin Football lost this past weekend. As a result, there are only five unbeaten teams left in the conference as Big Ten season begins. Wisconsin Football used a solid second half to get past Georgia Southern. They scored the last 28 points of the game after falling behind 14-7 early in the second half.
There isn’t much moving around for the most part of these rankings. Minnesota and Michigan State both had chances to play some tougher competition and both were blown out. Minnesota by North Carolina and Michigan by Washington.
Only Iowa remains undefeated in the Big Ten West. It’s also worth noting their schedule has been one of the easier ones to this point. Only the Hawkeyes and Purdue have yet to play a ranked team from the West. Iowa gets a hard road game at Penn State this weekend. I think we learn a lot about them after Saturday.
It’s pretty cool to see Rutgers sitting at 3-0 wins two winds against power 5 teams. However, with the difficulty of the Big Ten East, I think the only game I see them winning moving forward is potentially Indiana.
