The Wisconsin football staff has made an incredible offer in the 2026 recruiting class to highly touted recruit Dia Bell following a visit.
Dia Bell, a Florida native and current 2026 quarterback, has been considered one of the top quarterbacks in the class following success as a starter at the American Heritage School. Bell already holds 21 scholarship offers after only one year of real play, which shows the impact he has made on recruiters. Wisconsin football has now added themselves to the list, joining Penn State, Washington, and Utah among others.
Wisconsin Football Offers 2026 QB Dia Bell Following Exceptional Sophomore Season
While this past season was the first year Bell got a chance to start, that does not mean it was his first chance to make an impact. Bell has visited Florida, Penn State, and Notre Dame three times each thus far, but only holds offers from the Gators and the Nittany Lions.
The Nittany Lions in particular have been very high on Bell, visiting the quarterback multiple times in his home state of Florida as well. The Gators have appeared to be in the mix, but whether or not Bell wants to stay in Florida still remains a question.
Bell has also visited LSU, Utah, Florida State, and Ohio State, but does not hold an official scholarship offer from any of those programs so far.
What has really propelled the stock of Bell, particularly in the eyes of the Wisconsin football staff, is his ability to throw and run the football. Bell recorded 1929 yards and 20 touchdowns through the air and added 86 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The quarterback is not the best rusher yet, but it has been a major aspect of his game he is working on.
The Impact: How Dia Bell Would Change the Wisconsin Football Offense
As stated before, what has really intrigued the Wisconsin football staff while recruiting Dia Bell is his ability to do multiple different things as a quarterback. There is not one play style that Bell sticks to, and he feels comfortable leaving the pocket and challenging the defense when he has to.
Wisconsin, and plenty of other programs, have also loved the confidence that Bell displays at the position. Confidence plays a major part in the success of individual players and the team, and Wisconsin wants to load up on players who can vision themselves being successful. Bell has been just that guy as he confidently delivers deep balls to receivers and threads the needle on narrow passes.
If Wisconsin football is able to land Bell, it would be huge for their quarterback room due to how dynamic he could potentially make the offense.
Can the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Land Bell in the Future?
Currently, the Wisconsin staff is entering a race for a four-star recruit that may not end for quite some time. While the Nittany Lions might have the biggest lead at the moment, there are still plenty of programs interested in Bell who have not pulled the trigger on a scholarship offer just yet.
Scholarship offers from LSU, Florida State, and Notre Dame could all potentially shake up the recruitment of Bell due to his connection with those programs. Likely, Bell will be in the recruiting realm for the long run as he continues to prove himself on the field.
