Wisconsin football has a great home to play in, Camp Randall Stadium. College football is full of awesome traditions and iconic places to play. 247 Sports came out with a list of the top stadiums in terms of fan atmosphere and Wisconsin ranked in the top ten.
Wisconsin Football: Camp Randall Stadium
Between the tailgating experience and the ever-popular “Jump Around” tradition, Wisconsin has done a great job of cultivating a fun fan experience. Camp Randall came in sixth in terms of top fan atmospheres. The list references the “Jump Around” tradition as the big draw saying that, “everyone in attendance literally jumps with the song, making an intimidating environment both visibly and audibly.” Even though Wisconsin has not seen success on the field, the atmosphere is still a great fan experience.
Others On The List
Wisconsin was one of five Big Ten schools to appear on the list. The only one that was higher than Wisconsin was Penn State which came in as the second-ranked school. Nebraska (9th), Michigan (10th), and Ohio State (12th) also found their way near the top. The Big Ten schools know how to make a great environment for football even if the product on the field, *cough* *cough* *Nebraska*, hasn’t been up to par. This is also what makes the Big Ten so difficult. Going into these places and getting a win actually means something.
