It’s been a really good summer for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers. After a terrific month of June, the Badgers are starting the month of July on fire as well. It was announced today Anelu Lafaele, an edge rusher from Honolulu will make his college decision on Tuesday. It can be followed live on YouTube. According to Lafaele’s tweet, Wisconsin is a finalist along with Hawaii, Arizona State, and Washington. There are three crystal balls on the 247 website and all three have Lafaele favoring the Badgers. Lafaele is the number two ranked player in the state of Hawaii and the 21st ranked edge rusher in the 2024 class.
What Lafaele Would Bring

Lafaele already brings a big body for an edge rusher. He is currently listed at 6’3 and 222 pounds. While he’ll also add on some muscle in a college lifting program, it’s hard not to like the size. He also took a visit to Wisconsin on June 2. Lafaele would also bring Wisconsin their first edge rusher in the 2024 class. For as good as Wisconsin is developing edge rushers, it’s a little crazy to think they don’t have one yet in this class. Lafaele seems like a solid player and unless something drastic changes, all signs point to him being a Badger on Tuesday
