Wisconsin football head coach Luke Fickell is being reunited with a coach as he has decided to add to the Badgers staff on Thursday. Per FootballScoop.com, Wisconsin is set to hire New York Jets assistant defensive line coach Greg Scruggs as the defensive line coach for the Badgers. Scruggs spent one year as a Jets coach in the NFL before opting to return to the college game.

Before becoming an assistant Jets coach, Greg Scruggs spent four seasons at Cincinnati under Fickell, serving as director of player development and NFL liaison for the first two years from 2018-19. After that, he was promoted to defensive line coach in 2020, holding that spot before going to the Jets.
Scruggs played college football at Ball State and then spent five seasons in the NFL.
