The Wisconsin Badgers’ slide continues. They are now on a three-game losing skid after getting tripped up by Juwan Howard and the Michigan Wolverines Wednesday night in Ann Arbor, 72-84. For Badgers head coach Greg Gard, his team has no one to blame but themselves.

Gard was more concerned about how poorly his team defended dribble penetration and how careless they were with the ball, especially with some turnovers early in the game.
“If you give any team confidence, let alone one that’s really searching for good things to happen, you’re asking for trouble,” he said.
Wisconsin Badgers Still Unable To Get Out Of A Slump
The Wisconsin Badgers came to the Michigan game as the favorite even though they’re playing on the road. For one, the Wolverines were unranked and on a five-game losing skid. The Badgers had lost their previous two games, but one of those was against powerhouse and No. 2 Purdue Boilermakers.
With the loss to Michigan, the Badgers are now 16-7 overall with an 8-4 record against Big Ten opponents. The setback against the Wolverines was also another strong message sent to the Wisconsin Badgers that nothing is going to be given to them, a lesson they should take to heart heading into a Saturday matchup against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
