The Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting department has been incredibly busy the last few months. They have evaluated talent, met players, sent out offers, and hosted major recruitment weekends.
These recruitment weekends have been crucial to the early success of their 2024 class. Bringing together players with offers, along with already committed players, to experience the campus and city together has paid huge dividends.
In this article, I’ll cover recent commits and players to keep an eye on moving forward.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Commits

Raphael Dunn (ATH/DB)
Raphael Dunn is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound athlete out of Lawrenceville, NJ. The rangy athlete had offers from programs like Penn State, USC, and Michigan State but chose to commit to Wisconsin on Sunday. I’ll go into him in more depth as a player later in the week, but Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting is getting a big, strong, and versatile player that will be able to do a lot for the defense.
Colin Cubberly (OT)
Colin Cubberly is a 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive tackle out of Lagrangeville, N.Y. Cubberly, like Dunn, was in Madison for one of the recruitment weekend events. He enjoyed the experience so much that he chose Wisconsin over Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas. The 3-star is the fourth offensive line commit in the class of 2024, which is shaping up to be one of, if not the best, in school history.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Crystal Ball Predictions
Anelu Lafaele (DE/OLB)
Anelu Lafaele is a 4-star pass rusher out of Honolulu, HI. Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting made his top 7 list in early April, along with Arizona State, Hawaii, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Washington, and Utah. Since then, he has not only visited Madison but was also given a crystal ball prediction to Wisconsin last week. The Hawaii to Wisconsin pipeline has been real over the last couple of years, and Lafaele would be a huge add. He’s fast, violent, and an absolute game-wrecker.
Darrion Dupreee (RB)
Darrion Dupree is a 4-star running back out of Chicago, IL. He has a long list of offers but has visited Madison three times since being offered in December. That has led to a crystal ball prediction for Wisconsin. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound back would be a great addition to a class that has come up empty at the position to this point. Dupree has good speed, great contact balance, and impressive vision. He’s an impressive overall running back that can also catch the ball. Check out his tape here!
Dominic Nichols (DE)
Dominic Nichols is also listed below but was given a crystal ball prediction from Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting insider Evan Flood last week. Nichols was in town to kick off June; he reportedly loved his visit, and now it seems as though his recruitment is between Michigan and Wisconsin. Following his visit to Madison was a visit to Ann Arbor and his decision is likely down to which program made the biggest impact.
Gideon Ituka (RB)
Gideon Ituka is a 3-star running back out of Gaithersburg, MD. The 5-foot-10, 225-pound back was in town last weekend and enjoyed the visit so much that multiple outlets have him crystal balled to Wisconsin. Ituka is the second running back predicted to commit to Wisconsin but is a much different player than Dupree. He may not have game-breaking speed but looks very natural as a north and south runner that sets up blocks well and hits the hole with power. You can check out his tape here!
Omillio Agard (DB)
Omillio Agard is a 4-star defensive out of Philadelphia. Wisconsin Badgers football has come on late for the 5-foot-11, 173-pound corner. Wisconsin was not in his initial top-10 list he released last August but looks to be the best bet to land him after visiting campus last weekend. Agard doesn’t have the size and length that Fickell has been targeting, but that should speak volumes as to how impressive he is on the field. You can watch the highlights here! Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting is battling Clemson for the lockdown cornerback.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Cut Down Lists
Damarion Witten (TE)
Wisconsin Badgers football has made the top five for 3-star tight end Damarion Witten. The Cleveland, OH native also included Ohio State, Kentucky, Texas, and Oregon. That’s some impressive company, as the 6-foot-3, 215-pound pass catcher has the ideal frame to develop into an impact-tight end at the next level. You can check out his film here!
Dominic Nichols (DE)
4-star defensive end Dominic Nichols announced his top eight schools last week. Along with the Badgers is Kentucky, Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Florida State, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech. There are some huge programs after the 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive playmaker out of Maryland. Nichols would be a huge addition to a Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting class with only one defensive lineman committed. You can check out his tape here!
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Prospects to Keep an Eye On
Liam Andrews (OL/DL)
Liam Andrews is a 6-foot-5, 270-pound player out of Brookline, MA. It’s difficult to slot him into a position as he played both offensive and defensive lines at a high-level last season. Although Andrews does look good blocking on tape, he looks very natural on the defensive line. He’s extremely athletic, given his size, has a variety of pass-rushing moves, and uses his hands very well for a young player. He took an official visit last weekend, and the favorites appear to be Penn State and Wisconsin.
Dominic Kirks (DE)
Dominic Kirks is a 4-star defensive end out of Cleveland, OH. Defensive linemen and pass rushers are all over this article, as it’s arguably the weakest position of the 2024 recruiting class. Kirks would be a great addition as his 6-foot-5, 255-pound frame is ideal for rushing the passer. The Ohio native was on campus, along with Andrews, last weekend and was impressed by what he saw. Kirks canceled an official visit to Kentucky to make it to Madison. It looks like Pitt and Wisconsin may be the front runners. You can check out his film here!
I’Marion Stewart (WR)
I’Marion Stewart is a 4-star wide receiver out of Chicago, IL. Michigan is currently the favorite to land his services, but a crucial official visit to Madison earlier this month may have changed things. Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting currently has one receiver committed for the 2024 class and adding a 6-foot, 180-pound playmaker would be huge. His tape shows a very well-rounded pass catcher with great hands and impressive route running.
