The Packers have four games left to play and still haven’t clinched a spot in the playoffs. Basically, if everything goes worng the Packers can still miss the playoffs. However, this is highly unlikely. Additionally, the Packers can clinch a spot this week. Not only that, but they can clinch the NFC North. However, everyone knows that the playoffs are not enough and the Packers are fighting for the one seed. Take a look at who to root for this week as a Packers fan.
To Clinch

The Packers can put an end to the NFC North race this week by simply winning. However it isn’t necessary. They can win the NFC North with:
- GB win or tie OR
- MIN loss or tie
A win in Baltimore would make the Packers NFC North champs for the third straight season. However, the Packers can still clinch a playoff spot with a loss and a Vikings win. For that to happen any of the following can occur:
- NO loss or tie + SF loss OR
- SF loss + PHI-WAS tie OR
- NO loss or tie + PHI-WAS tie OR
- NO loss or tie + LAR loss + SF tie OR
- LAR loss + SF tie + PHI-WAS tie
Obviously it’s easier to just win tha to rely on other teams, but if the Packers do lose they can still secure a spot in the dance.
The Number One Seed

Essentially, The Packers playoff spot is all but official. The real goal right now should be to secure home field advantage. The NFC is as close as it has ever been. Green Bay, Arizona, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles and Dallas all have a legitimate shot at the number one seed. Here’s who to root for in the games this weekend.
- Giants over Cowboys
- Lions over Cardinals
- Saints over Buccaneers
- Seahawks over Rams
If any of the real contenders were to lose it could essentially put them out of the running for the number one seed in the NFC with only four games remaining. Notingly, The Rams will play on Tuesday due to COVID-19 rescheduling while the Cowboys, Cardinals and Bunccaneers will all play on Sunday.
