WATCH: Romeo Doubs Absolutely Cooks Saints Defensive Back

I am not sure if any player in the Green Bay Packers’ camp is gaining more hype than Rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs.  He is making a “wow” play on a daily basis at camp.  Aaron Rodgers, Eric Stokes, Randall Cobb, Jaire Alexander, coaching staff, and many beat writers have taken notice.  Now opposing teams are getting to see the rookie wide receiver first hand.  The Green Bay Packers are hosting joint practices with the New Orleans Saints this week.  Which means we get to see one on ones with opposing teams.  This one went to the Packers Rookie.

Packers Rookie Zooms By Saints CB

Romeo Doubs cooks his opponent off the line and is WIDE open. Too bad the ball went to the other side of the field to Winfree (incomplete) as this was going for 6 – you can see Doubs’ frustration as he knew he was taking that one to the house. pic.twitter.com/0airpzdVXw

Jordan Love didn’t throw him the ball, but it clearly would have been six points.  Looking at 2022, Romeo Doubs is off to a really great start as a rookie.  He figures to be a huge part of the Packers offense when it comes to the passing attack.  Green Bay will need to beat teams collectively instead of targeting one player an awful lot like they did with Adams each of the last few seasons.  They will use the likes of Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, free agent addition Sammy Watkins, second-year receiver Amari Rodgers, rookie Christian Watson, and Doubs to help give the Green Bay offense balance.  If Doubs’ play continues into the regular season, he could set rookie records for a Packers wide receiver.

Marcus Williams signed with the Ravens. He is a safety not a cornerback. Number 43 is Meeks. He just signed with the Saints. He is not a starting CB. Before hyping up a player please get your information correct. Do better Navy. Marcus Williams is somewhere frowning upon you.

Yeah the article doesn’t mention Marcus Williams.

But Meeks is a 4th string CB who isn’t going to make the team.
