Matt LaFleur addresses Ambulance incident
Matt LaFleur addressed the Thursday incident where an ambulance came to the Green Bay Packers facility to remove an injured player. According to yesterday’s report, a practice squad member was taken to the hospital after being injured during Thursday’s practice. The incident came just one day after LaFleur addressed the Packers about emergency procedures following Damar Hamiln’s tragic injury on Monday Night Football.
During Friday’s pre-practice press conference, LaFleur updated the media about what happened Thursday. According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, linebacker DQ Thomas sustained a femur fracture and rode the ambulance out of practice Thursday. The practice squad member had a successful surgery.

It appears like the update is positive for Thomas and the Packers, given the circumstances. The Packers have other injuries they’re worried about before Sunday night’s contest against the Detroit Lions. The Packers are preparing to play a must-win game to reach the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
