The Milwaukee Bucks soundly defeated the Golden State Warriors 128-111 on Tuesday night. This game was truly interesting, as the Warriors were called for five technical fouls and Draymond Green had a Milwaukee fan escorted out of the arena. Despite a slow start offensively, the Bucks quickly found their stride and controlled the flow of the game. At one point, Milwaukee led by as many as 22 points in the second half. This performance was so good, the only “dud” is really Giannis’ shooting percentage (but we’ll talk about that later). Playing with Jrue Holiday (illness), the rest of the Bucks’ role players stepped up in big ways:
- Grayson Allen: 16 points (PERFECT from the floor- 6/6 overall, 2/2 from three, 2/2 on free throws)
- Jevon Carter: light on scoring (four points on 2/3 shooting, but heavy on defense- three steals)
- George Hill: Five points (1/1 shooting, 2/2 on free throws), five rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes
- Pat Connaughton: Probably the best game of his season- nine points, three rebounds, two steals, and a block
Three Studs
Giannis Antetokounmpo
As previously mentioned, Giannis Antetokounmpo did not have a good night shooting the ball. He was just 9-26 from the floor (1/6 from three) and 11/17 from the free throw line. However, it is impossible to label a 30-point, 12-rebound game a dud. He also had five assists, one steal, and a classic chase down block from behind on former teammate Donte DiVincenzo.
Giannis leads the league in 30/10 games this season.

Bobby Portis
As convinced as I am that Brook Lopez should be the Defensive Player of the year, I am just as convinced that Bobby Portis should be the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year. Portis is the only player averaging a double-double off the bench AND ranks among the league leaders in double-doubles.
Against the Warriors, Portis used his full bag of tricks to light them up on the floor. He had 25 points (11-15 shooting, 1-4 from three), 11 rebounds, and a blocked shot.
Bobby leads the league in double-doubles off the bench this season with 16.

Khris Middleton
It sure is good to see Khris Middleton coming back from his long recovery. Middleton, too, had his best game of the season after missing all but six minutes of the Bucks’ loss to Houston. He scored 20 points (6/13 shooting, 3/7 from three, 5/5 from the line) and added four rebounds and three assists.
New season-high 20 points tonight for Khris.

Three Duds
In a 17-point blowout victory? Are you kidding me?
No duds from this game.
