The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their second consecutive preseason game on Thursday afternoon. This loss, though, was very different than their one to the Memphis Grizzlies last week. For one, Giannis Antetokounmpo played in this contest. However, the drastic difference was the venue: the United Arab Emirates. For the first time ever, the NBA played a game in the Middle East. This game was held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Jevon Carter
Fans of the Milwaukee Bucks were ecstatic when the team brought back veteran point guard Jevon Carter. “Bull Dog” was not used as much as he probably should have been in last year’s Playoffs, but he sure is making a case to be the primary backup behind Jrue Holiday. In this contest, Carter scored 17 points in 22 minutes while also dishing out three assists. The most impressive thing about his performance was that he started the game 4-4 from three and finished 5-6. Overall, Carter was 6-10 from the field.

2. Serge Ibaka
Another popular re-signing was that of Serge Ibaka. The veteran center provides some depth in the frontcourt besides sixth man Bobby Portis. While also used sparingly last season, Ibaka provides veteran and championship experience off the bench. In the loss to the Hawks, Ibaka scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds in just 17 minutes of play.

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo
As mentioned previously, Giannis Antetokounmpo made his preseason debut in this matchup. Prior to the game, NBA commissioner Adam Silver raved about how great Giannis is as a global ambassador for the league.
"I think he's very much I feel as a global citizen… He truly is someone who can represent many different cultures, at the same time, I think he brings true joy to the game… He's a commissioner's dream."

Of course, Giannis had to play in this game with it being help internationally. The Greek Freak scored 19 points on 6-16 shooting while also going 7-10 from the free throw line. He was 0-1 on three point attempts. Giannis played 21 minutes and also pulled down seven rebounds.
