A familiar name has become one of the best outside linebackers and pass rushers in the NFL. He played two seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers and was drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers with their 1st round, 30th overall pick. Since then, TJ Watt has been making good on that first-round selection, especially with plays like this.

Just @_TJWatt doing TJ Watt things 💪

Wisconsin Badgers and NFL Fans React on Social Media

The 28-year-old TJ Watt, younger brother of another Wisconsin Badgers alum, JJ Watt, is making good on a $112 million extension with the Steelers that came right before a season where he’d be named Defensive Player of the Year in 2021. Here’s how social media feels about TJ Watt after the Steelers defeated the Raiders 23-18 and his strong start to the year.

    Some brotherly love:

    6 sacks in 2.5 games…

I don’t even have to say it. @_TJWatt

In 10 games last year, TJ Watt had 5.5 sacks. He’s already surpassed that total the first 3 games of this season, with 6. #Steelers

    TJ Watt is not mortal

But he is a Badger https://t.co/CHlMPFOmv1

TJ Watt on pace for a 41 sacks this season.

That would be an NFL record.

    He also loves Steelers fans.

There may also be something to the legend of TJ Watt growing outside of football.

This makes it look like TJ Watt landed the plane which, honestly, isn’t that far-fetched https://t.co/gU217ZnEKR
