Wisconsin Badgers football alumni T.J. Watt had a big night for the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 26-22 win at home against the Cleveland Browns. From the opening kickoff, Watt had his fingerprints on this one. T.J. Watt on Monday night broke the sacks record for the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise.
He has 81.5 career sacks with Pittsburgh and the Wisconsin Badgers alum is doing damage in the NFL. James Harrison, a former Pittsburgh Steelers player spoke out on Watt breaking the all-time franchise sacks record.
“It’s great. That is the whole reason I came, so I could be here in person to see it. Records are meant to be broken and that was one I was happy to see go down.”
T.J. Watt had a 16-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter after recovering a fumble. It was his first-ever career touchdown. This occurred when Pittsburgh was trailing 22-19 at the time and it turned out to be the game-winning score. The Steelers defense scored two touchdowns in the game and that was one of the reasons why they won the game.
Also in that game, Watt had four tackles, four quarterback hits, two tackles for a loss, one sack, one pass deflection, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown.

During the game between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night, J.J. Watt was showing brotherly love to his brother T.J. Watt, a Wisconsin Badgers alum. J.J. Watt said on his Twitter account:
“TJ WATT is the best defensive player on the planet. Stop trying to question it, stop trying to justify anyone else. He is the best. Period.”

This was probably a shot at the Cleveland Browns fanbase because they want to believe that Myles Garrett is better than T.J. Watt, but Garrett always comes up small against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Watt always balls out and he seems to be the entire Steelers defense. Without him, they would be lost big time.
Just two years ago, the former Wisconsin Badgers football player won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award. He is going to continue to be a problem for other teams. T.J. Watt is one of the best Pittsburgh Steelers defensive players in their franchise history.
