Some high school basketball recruits in the class of 2024 are already committing to schools, while others are still looking to commit to their next team. Brookfield Central’s small forward, Jack Daugherty, is getting recruited by schools. Yet, it’s not by the dominant College Basketball programs.
Small Schools Recruiting Wisconsin HS Player Jack Daugherty
Dougherty is 6’8″ and weighs 195 lbs. He is a 3-star recruit on 247 sports. Jack Daugherty is the 42nd-ranked small forward prospect in the class of 2024, but he is one of the top-five Wisconsin state recruits.
Jack Daugherty currently resides in Brookfield, Wisc. He has yet to commit to any program after his high school career is over, but is looking to commit sooner rather than later. Jack Daugherty averaged 17.6 PPG, 7.4 RPG, and 2 APG last year. Dougherty was shooting 44% from three-point land, as well.
Jack Daugherty only uses his Twitter page to announce what schools have offered him something up to this point. The latest offer he received was earlier this week, on Monday, June 26, from the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in the Patriot League.
There have also been eight different college basketball programs that have offered him something in the calendar year of 2023. One of those schools that have also offered Jack Daugherty is Wisconsin-Milwaukee back on Jan. 24.
The Cal Poly Mustangs offered him on Feb 18. Some of the other schools that he has an interest in attending in the fall of 2024 and beyond are the Ball State Cardinals, the Illinois State Redbirds, the Indiana State Sycamores, the Toledo Rockets, and the Robert Morris Colonials.
On March 11, he also paid a visit to the Princeton Tigers in the Ivy League. However, there is also one potential wild card team that is keeping an eye on Jack Daugherty. That is Tony Bennett and the Virginia Cavaliers.
