It was an exciting weekend in Texas as the Brewers battled the Rangers. Here is a complete recap of the series.
Brewers vs. Rangers Game One:
Final Score: 9-8 Brewers
Brandon Woodruff took the mound for Milwaukee, squaring off against Andrew Heaney of the Texas Rangers. Woodruff pitched for 5.1 innings, conceding 4 earned runs. Heaney’s performance saw him pitching for 3.2 innings, allowing 3 earned runs. The Brewers’ offense found its spark when William Contreras drove in a run with a double in the third inning. Following suit, Mark Canha delivered an RBI double, and Willy Adames followed with an RBI single. The momentum continued as Carlos Santana crushed a three-run home run during the 7th inning, and in the eighth, William Contreras once again contributed with a two-run single.
Brewers vs. Rangers Game Two:
Final Score: 6-1 Brewers
In the second game, Freddy Peralta took the mound for Milwaukee and squared off against the Rangers’ Dane Dunning. Peralta delivered a strong performance, pitching for 5 innings and allowing only one run. On the opposing side, Dunning also pitched 5 innings but conceded three runs.
The Brewers’ offense found its rhythm as Carlos Santana kickstarted things with a solo home run in the first inning. Willy Adames added to the momentum with an RBI single in the third. Adames continued to shine with another solo home run in the sixth inning. Monasterio contributed with an RBI single during the sixth inning, while Carlos Santana extended the lead with an RBI double in the seventh. Mark Canha kept the pressure on, delivering an RBI single in the ninth inning.
Brewers vs. Rangers Game Three:
Final Score: 6-2 Brewers
Adrian Houser took the starting position for the Brewers in the series’ concluding game, facing off against the Rangers’ Max Scherzer. Houser’s performance spanned five innings, allowing only one earned run. On the opposing side, Scherzer pitched 3.2 innings and conceded three earned runs.
The Brewers managed to put a run on the board during the third inning, courtesy of Willy Adames being hit by a pitch. Following Adames, Rowdy Tellez drew an RBI walk, adding to the team’s lead. Christian Yelich extended the advantage with an RBI double in the fourth inning. The eighth inning saw Tyrone Taylor stepping up with a pivotal two-run triple, further solidifying the Brewers’ position.
