It is never too early for Green Bay Packers fans to dream of winning the Super Bowl in 2025. One unnamed NFL scout even said that he believes the team has the makeup of a team that can soon seriously battle for the Vince Lombardi Trophy (h/t Jeremy Fowler of ESPN).
Yes, people are going there. Jordan Love proved a legitimate franchise quarterback, and the skill positions are loaded with first- and second-year players.
[Green Bay has] a young nucleus to build from — and the offensive line was playing really well,” a veteran AFC scout said. “The defense was up and down but finished the year much better. They’ve always had talent on that side of the ball. Can they be consistent?”
The Green Bay Packers Showed Great Promise In 2023. Can They Be Better in 2024?
Winning the Super Bowl is easier said than done, and that’s a galaxy-sized understatement. Having said that, it can’t be denied that the Packers showed tremendous promise in 2023. When most people thought that the Green Bay Packers would take a big step back in Year 1 of the post-Aaron Rodgers era, Jordan Love and company went down to work and proved the future is bright for the team, as they finished the regular season with a winning 9-8 record and even managed to make the NFL playoffs. In addition, the Packers won a playoff game, pulling off an upset win against the Dallas Cowboys on the road in the NFC wild-card round.
The Packers still have plenty of work to do if they are to be better in 2024, let alone win the Super Bowl. Firing Joe Barry is a step in the right direction for Green Bay, but it remains to be seen what other moves and improvements the Packers will make before the start of the 2024 campaign.
